
Toronto Internal Medicine Ultrasound is for learners looking to enhance their POCUS knowledge and connect with fellow sonophiles
Our mission is to provide an opportunity for trainees to learn about approaches to basic ultrasound applications, how to recognize common pathology, and to discuss interesting cases while understanding the limitations of ultrasound as a modality and in clinical use.

Site Author: Drew Brotherston is a practicing General Internist in Toronto, Canada. He earned his Medical Degree at the University of Toronto (2017) before completing his core Internal Medicine training at the University of Calgary (2020). He then returned to the University of Toronto for his General Internal Medicine Fellowship degree. (2022) He concurrently completed a Critical Care Ultrasound Fellowship at the University of Western on Ontario. He is a current a Master Instructor for the Canadian Point-of-care Ultrasound Society and is a clinical and ultrasound teacher in his daily practice.
